Michael D. Coulter* - Mr. Coulter is
President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of
the Corporation. He has over 25 years of management
experience in the international mining industry and
as President of M.D. Coulter & Associates Inc.,
provides administrative, accounting, secretarial and
securities regulation compliance services to Canadian
public companies. Mr. Coulter was the President and
a director of Asquith Resources Inc. (now AXMIN Inc.)
until November 2001, a gold exploration company with
properties in Africa and Canada.
Peter George - Mr George, a director of the Corporation, has more than 40
years extensive experience in the international resource industry, including technical and
management experience as an employee/senior manager with major mining companies, operation
of his own geological consulting and geophysical contracting firm, and technical and
executive involvement with a number of junior resource companies. He was a senior member
of the management of ONTZINC Corporation between 2002 and 2004, during which time
ONTZINC successfully completed the acquisition of Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Co.,
Limited from Anglo American International, S.A. Mr George obtained his B. Sc. (Honours) in
geology from Queens University and he holds the designation P. Geol. as granted by the
Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario and is a member of several other
professional organizations.
Richard J. Lachcik - Mr. Lachcik, a director
of the Corporation, has been a partner of the law firm
Macleod Dixon LLP since August 1998 and prior thereto
was a partner of a Toronto law firm. He holds a law
degree from Queen’s University and was called to
the bar in Ontario in April 1983. Mr. Lachcik specializes
in areas of corporate and securities law and has acted
as counsel to the Company since 1989. He currently serves
as a director and/or officer of several other public
companies.
John C. Loewen* - Mr. Loewen, a director of the Corporation, is the CEO of Loewen & Partners, an investment banking firm in Toronto. He has 19 years of international experience in finance and investment banking, having worked in South Africa as a partner and analyst with Ivor Jones, Roy & Co., which was acquired by Deutsche Bank Securities. John subsequently worked with Accel Partners, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. and several international mining houses to establish Golbal HubCo B.V. in London to develop global e-marketplaces for trading commodities.
William W. Ollerhead* - Mr. Ollerhead, a director of the Corporation, is the principal of a private investment, management services, and corporate finance consulting company. He actively manages that company's investment portfolio, and administers its other management operations. He has over 20 years of experience in the capital markets and corporate finance fields, with the past 18 years devoted principally to fixed income private placements. Mr. Ollerhead founded Ollerhead Capital Corporation in 1997, which, until its sale in 2009, provided advisory services in respect of the structuring and arranging of private debt financing, for transactions totalling approximately $800 million. Previously he worked in Corporate Finance for a Canadian Investment Dealer, and as an investment professional for two Canadian institutional investors. His investment and capital markets experience has provided him with exposure to, and knowledge of, a broad range of industries. He holds a B.A. (Statistics) from the University of Western Ontario, and an M.B.A. (Finance) from McGill University. Mr. Ollerhead is also a member, and serves on the Audit and Compensation committees, of the board of BioExx Specialty Proteins Ltd., a TSX listed company.
Marilyn E. Turner - Ms. Turner is Corporate Secretary of the Corporation. She has acted as Corporate Secretary of a number of Canadian public companies and is Secretary-Treasurer and co-owner of M.D. Coulter & Associates Inc.
